This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 52.92

सा तस्य दर्शनतृषा निर्धाविता गुणशता कीर्तयति ।
वरपुरुष विप्रहीनो स्वबन्धुजनस्य कथं आसी ॥ ९२ ॥

sā tasya darśanatṛṣā nirdhāvitā guṇaśatā kīrtayati |
varapuruṣa viprahīno svabandhujanasya kathaṃ āsī || 92 ||

But she, eager to have him in sight, ran out of the village and lauded his many virtues, telling how the noble man was exiled from kith and kin. (92)
