This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 52.8

संछन्ना पुण्डरीकेहि पदुमेहि उत्पलेहि च ।
नानावर्णेहि पुष्पेहि वान्ति सर्वदीशो दिशो ॥ ८ ॥

saṃchannā puṇḍarīkehi padumehi utpalehi ca |
nānāvarṇehi puṣpehi vānti sarvadīśo diśo || 8 ||

Every part is covered with red and white and blue lotuses and is fragrant with the scent of various flowers. (8)
