This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 46.17

इमम् अङ्गुलीयकं इमां च तालीसगन्धीकां मालां ।
दास्याथ लुब्धकपुत्रा भर्ता मम स्वामिकस्वामि ॥ १७ ॥

imam aṅgulīyakaṃ imāṃ ca tālīsagandhīkāṃ mālāṃ |
dāsyātha lubdhakaputrā bhartā mama svāmikasvāmi || 17 ||

“‘Give him this finger-ring of mine and this garland of sweet-smelling talisa. He is my husband, lord and master. (17)
