This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 35.53

अङ्केन गृह्य निशाम्य द्वात्रिंशल्लक्षणेषु उपागतं ।
तथा अनुव्यंजनेहि प्ररोदि आखण्डलसमानो ॥ ५३ ॥

aṅkena gṛhya niśāmya dvātriṃśallakṣaṇeṣu upāgataṃ |
tathā anuvyaṃjanehi prarodi ākhaṇḍalasamāno || 53 ||

And when he had taken him in his arms and seen that he bore the thirty-two marks of a Great Man as well as the lesser characteristics, he wept and sobbed. (53)
