This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 34.154

ततः पुण्यगन्धा सुखोष्णा प्रभूता लघुप्रेमणीया हिता मानुषाणां ।
शिवा नन्दनीया तुषारानुबद्धा दुवे वारिधारा नभे उद्गमेन्सु ॥ १५४ ॥

tataḥ puṇyagandhā sukhoṣṇā prabhūtā laghupremaṇīyā hitā mānuṣāṇāṃ |
śivā nandanīyā tuṣārānubaddhā duve vāridhārā nabhe udgamensu || 154 ||

Two pitchers of water speedily appeared in the sky, one fragrant, pleasantly warm, agreeable and beneficial to men, the other healthful, invigorating and icy-cold. (154)
