This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 34.147

संप्रतिजाते सुगते ज्ञाती उदकार्थिका विधावेन्सुः ।
अथ पुरतो उदुपाना पूरा मुखतो विष्यन्देन्सुः ॥ १४७ ॥

saṃpratijāte sugate jñātī udakārthikā vidhāvensuḥ |
atha purato udupānā pūrā mukhato viṣyandensuḥ || 147 ||

As soon as the Sugata was born his folk ran in quest of water. And lo! wells full of water, brimming overflowed right before their eyes. (147)
