This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 34.120

मा खलु जनय विषादं परिकर्म वयं तवं करिष्यामः ।
यं कर्तव्यम् उदीरय दृश्यतु कृतम् एव तत्सर्वं ॥ १२० ॥

mā khalu janaya viṣādaṃ parikarma vayaṃ tavaṃ kariṣyāmaḥ |
yaṃ kartavyam udīraya dṛśyatu kṛtam eva tatsarvaṃ || 120 ||

“Do not give way to anxiety, for we shall render tendance to you. Only tell us what is to be done, and lo! it is all done.” (120)
