This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 30.29

सा दासी उपगम्य पादां वन्दित्वा भावितात्मनां ।
प्राञ्जलिकृता अवोचत् प्रविशथ भदन्त निषीदाथ ॥ २९ ॥

sā dāsī upagamya pādāṃ vanditvā bhāvitātmanāṃ |
prāñjalikṛtā avocat praviśatha bhadanta niṣīdātha || 29 ||

And the servant approached, and bowed at the feet of these men whose selves were well-developed. Raising her joined hands she said, “Enter, sirs, and sit down.” (29)
