This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 21.3

अगरुवरधूपगर्भा समोनमन्तु नभतो जलधरा तं ।
पद्मिनिवनं छादेतुं वरचूर्णरसाकुलं क्षिप्रं ॥ ३ ॥

agaruvaradhūpagarbhā samonamantu nabhato jaladharā taṃ |
padminivanaṃ chādetuṃ varacūrṇarasākulaṃ kṣipraṃ || 3 ||

“Let clouds charged with the fragrance of aloe-wood quickly descend from the sky to shade the Lotus Grove that is full of the exquisite aroma of powders. (3)
