This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 20.34

परकामेषु च ईर्ष्यां न संजनेष्यं नापि अभिद्रोहं ।
भूतेषु उपजनेष्यं विपरीतमतिं च विजहामि ॥ ३४ ॥

parakāmeṣu ca īrṣyāṃ na saṃjaneṣyaṃ nāpi abhidrohaṃ |
bhūteṣu upajaneṣyaṃ viparītamatiṃ ca vijahāmi || 34 ||

“And, O King, I will live in the practice of the eleven moralities. A All night long has this resolve been stirring within me. (34)
