This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 20.25

तेन वचनेन तुष्टो देवीये अर्चिमां मनापेन ।
आमन्त्रयति नरवरो परिवारम् उदग्रसंकल्पो ॥ २५ ॥

tena vacanena tuṣṭo devīye arcimāṃ manāpena |
āmantrayati naravaro parivāram udagrasaṃkalpo || 25 ||

“Quickly let them tell me where Shatarashmi is. Have the place wreathed in fair flowers, and strewn with heaps of flowers, like an abode of a deva in heaven. (25)
