This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 19.135

तस्य च धर्मसंयुक्तं भावये पुरुषोत्तमः ।
कुशलं सर्वसत्वानां बुद्धधर्मविशारदः ॥ १३५ ॥

tasya ca dharmasaṃyuktaṃ bhāvaye puruṣottamaḥ |
kuśalaṃ sarvasatvānāṃ buddhadharmaviśāradaḥ || 135 ||

And the Supreme of Men, assured in his Buddhahood, considered how the merit of all those people befitted them to hear dharma. (135)
