This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 19.116

सो भूयः परिवर्जेत्वा निर्मिता मनुजाधिपः ।
द्वितीयं समतिक्रम्य द्वितीये प्रत्यवेक्षते ॥ ११६ ॥

so bhūyaḥ parivarjetvā nirmitā manujādhipaḥ |
dvitīyaṃ samatikramya dvitīye pratyavekṣate || 116 ||

The king again abandoned the phantom creations, and at the end of the second week he paid them another visit. (116)
