This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 19.113

रात्रिं प्रभातां विज्ञाय राजपुरुषम् अब्रवीत् ।
गच्छ त्वं ऋषयोपगम्य सिद्धेन त्वं निमन्त्रय ॥ ११३ ॥

rātriṃ prabhātāṃ vijñāya rājapuruṣam abravīt |
gaccha tvaṃ ṛṣayopagamya siddhena tvaṃ nimantraya || 113 ||

And when he saw that night had passed into day, he bade his servant go to the monks and invite them, saying the meal was ready. (113)
