This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 19.109

ते तं द्वीपम् उपागम्य तरुर् यत्र जनाधिपः ।
राज्यं पालयते तत्र चंक्रमिषु वशीगणा ॥ १०९ ॥

te taṃ dvīpam upāgamya tarur yatra janādhipaḥ |
rājyaṃ pālayate tatra caṃkramiṣu vaśīgaṇā || 109 ||

These saints went to the island where Taru was king, and wandered and roamed through his kingdom. (109)
