This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 19.72

अथ तोमरहस्ता च नाराचशतपाणियो ।
कुन्तमुद्गरहस्ताश् च श्रेष्ठिस्य पुरतः स्थिताः ॥ ७२ ॥

atha tomarahastā ca nārācaśatapāṇiyo |
kuntamudgarahastāś ca śreṣṭhisya purataḥ sthitāḥ || 72 ||

And clubs and hundreds of arrows, and lances and mallets, as they stood before the merchant. (72)
