This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 19.38

बुद्धः पुरुषशार्दूलः द्वात्रिंशवरलक्षणः ।
उत्पन्नः कुलसंपन्नः सर्वविद्यागुणान्वितः ॥ ३८ ॥

buddhaḥ puruṣaśārdūlaḥ dvātriṃśavaralakṣaṇaḥ |
utpannaḥ kulasaṃpannaḥ sarvavidyāguṇānvitaḥ || 38 ||

“The Buddha, the man of valour, who bears the thirty-two marks of excellence, has appeared in the world, born of a good family, and endowed with the attribute of omniscience. (38)
