This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 18.88

अशीति कोटीयो भूयो श्रोतापत्तिफले विभू ।
चतुर्थे शासने दमेत्वा दुर्गतीहि विमोक्षिताः ॥ ८८ ॥

aśīti koṭīyo bhūyo śrotāpattiphale vibhū |
caturthe śāsane dametvā durgatīhi vimokṣitāḥ || 88 ||

Eighty kotis more of devas didst thou tame, O lord, with thy third exhortation, to the fruition of entering the stream, and didst deliver from the ways of ill. (88)
