This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 17.83

शत्रुश् च ते ऽग्रबल दुर्बलभग्नशूको शीघ्रं तपेतु तव तेजवराभिभूतः ।
आसा च ते नरलम्बक महार्थयुक्ता संपूर्यतां कनकपर्वतसन्निकाशा ॥ ८३ ॥

śatruś ca te 'grabala durbalabhagnaśūko śīghraṃ tapetu tava tejavarābhibhūtaḥ |
āsā ca te naralambaka mahārthayuktā saṃpūryatāṃ kanakaparvatasannikāśā || 83 ||

“O sturdy steed, may your adversary be quickly overcome, like a feeble and broken awn of barley, vanquished by your matchless might. May your hope be fulfilled, O boon of men, and enriched as with mountains of gold. (83)
