This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 17.39

सा सलीलचारुवदना माता मारबलसंप्रमथनस्य ।
अभिरूहि सपरिवारा तानि मनोज्ञानि यानानि ॥ ३९ ॥

sā salīlacāruvadanā mātā mārabalasaṃpramathanasya |
abhirūhi saparivārā tāni manojñāni yānāni || 39 ||

She, the mother of the vanquisher of Mara’s might, speaking affectionate and loving words the while, with her escort mounted the lovely chariots. (39)
