This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 17.37

एकैकं च द्रुमवरं कुकूलपट्टोर्णकोशिकारेहि ।
कल्पयथ कल्पवृक्षां यथा दिवि देवप्रवरस्य ॥ ३७ ॥

ekaikaṃ ca drumavaraṃ kukūlapaṭṭorṇakośikārehi |
kalpayatha kalpavṛkṣāṃ yathā divi devapravarasya || 37 ||

“Deck out each fair tree with streamers of fine cloth, jute, wool and silk, that it be like the kalpavriksha trees of the lord of dev as in heaven.” (37)
