This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 12.56

सो रत्नस्कन्धशाखां वनखण्डां योजनानि षण्णवति ।
कारापयि भूमिपति प्रवरां वरवस्त्रसंछन्नां ॥ ५६ ॥

so ratnaskandhaśākhāṃ vanakhaṇḍāṃ yojanāni ṣaṇṇavati |
kārāpayi bhūmipati pravarāṃ varavastrasaṃchannāṃ || 56 ||

For ninety-six yojanas this king had the branches of the forest trees decked out with jewels and hung with fine tapestry. (56)
