yena bhagavāṃs tenāṃjaliṃ praṇāmayitvā bhagavantam etad avocat* // adhivāsayatu bhagavāṃ śuvetanāye bhaktena svake niveśane // adhivāsayati bhagavāṃ tūṣṇībhāvena // atha khalu mahāprajāpatī gautamī bhagavataḥ tuṣṇīṃbhāvenādhivāsanāṃ viditvā prabhūtaṃ khādanīyabhojanīyaṃ pratijāgaritvā tasyaiva rātryā atyayena svakaṃ niveśanaṃ suktasaṃmṛṣṭaṃ kārāpitaṃ osaktapaṭṭadāmakalāpaṃ muktapuṣpāvakīrṇaṃ dhūpitadhūpanaṃ / bhagavato mahārhaṃ āsanaṃ prajñapitaṃ yathopakaṃ ca bhikṣusaṃghasya // atha khalu bhagavāṃ kālyam eva nivāsayitvā pātracīvaram ādāya bhikṣusaṃghapuraskṛto yena prajāpatīye gautamīye niveśanaṃ praviṣṭo / niṣīdi bhagavān prajñapta evāsane yathāsanaṃ ca bhikṣusaṃghaḥ // atha khalu mahāprajāpatī gautamī svahastameva prabhūtena khādanīyabhojanīyena buddhapramukhaṃ bhikṣusaṃghaṃ saṃtarpayi saṃpravārayi // bhagavāṃ dāni yaṃ kālaṃ bhuktadhautapāṇir apanītapātro bhikṣusaṃgho ca tato bhagavāṃ mahāprajāpatīgautamīye antaḥpurikānāṃ ca anupūrvīyadharmadeśaṇāṃ praṇāmeti / yat tad buddhānāṃ bhagavatāṃ anupūrvīyadharmadeśanā / tadyathā dānakathāṃ śīlakathāṃ svargakathāṃ puṇyakathāṃ puṇyavipākakathāṃ // prasīdi mahāprajāpatī gautamī prasannacittāya punaḥ bhagavāṃ catvāry āryasatyāni prakāśayati / duḥkhaṃ duḥkhasamudayaṃ duḥkhanirodhaṃ mārgaṃ // mahāprajāpatīye dāni gautamīye tatrāsane niṣaṇṇāya virajaṃ vigatamalaṃ dharmeṣu dharmacakṣurviśuddhaṃ //
