ca cakravartirājyam apahāya alūhaṃ ca gṛhavāsam apahāya agārād anagārikāṃ pravrajito tadā yaśodharā devadattenocyate // mama bhrātā pravrajito āgaccha mama agramahiṣī bhavisyasi // dāni na icchati bodhisatvam eva abhikāṃkṣati / sundaranandenāpi vuccati / mama bhrātā pravrajito āgaccha mama agramahiṣī bhaviṣyasi / tasyāpi na icchati bodhisatvam evābhikāṃkṣati // yadā bhagavāṃ pravṛttadharmacakro tadāhiṃ etaṃ bhikṣubhi śrutaṃ / bhikṣū bhagavantaṃ pṛcchanti / kathaṃ bhagavaṃ yaśodharā sundaranandena ca devadattena ca prārthayantī na icchati bhagavantam eva prārtheti // bhagavān āha // na bhikṣavo idānīm eva yaśodharāye sundaranandena ca devadattena ca prārthayamānā na icchati mama evābhikāṃkṣati / anyadāpi eṣā etehi prārthayantī na icchati mama evābhikāṃkṣati //
___bhūtapūrvaṃ bhikṣavo atītamadhvāne himavantapādamūle sarveṣāṃ catuṣpaḍānāṃ samāgamo abhūṣi // asmākaṃ rājā nāsti catuṣpadānāṃ rājā sthapīyatu // tahiṃ teṣām utpannaṃ thapīyatu catuṣpadānāṃ rājā tti pravaraṃ // te āhansuḥ // ko dāni catuṣpadānāṃ rājā sthapīṣyatīti // teṣāṃ dāni utpannaṃ / yo asmākam ito saptamaṃ divasaṃ sarvaprathamaṃ himavantaṃ parvatarājaṃ gamiṣyati so catuṣpadānāṃ rājā bhaviṣyati // te evaṃ samayaṃ kṛtvā tato pradeśāto yena himavanto parvatarājā tena pradhāvitā // teṣāṃ sarveṣāṃ pṛṣṭhato kṛtvā vyāghrī himavantaṃ parvatarājānaṃ anuprāptā // vyāghrī himavantaṃ parvatarājānaṃ gatvā catuṣpadānāṃ prati/āleti // catuṣpadā ca sarve himavantaṃ parvatarājam anuprāptā / tatra ca tāṃ vyāghrīṃ paśyanti pratipālentīṃ // te dāni catuṣpadā tāṃ
