rājño śuddhodanasya etad abhūṣi // yathā kumārasya śānteṣu dhyāneṣu cittaṃ ramati so khalv eva asitasya ṛṣisya satyo vyākaraṇo bhaviṣyati // tena rājñā kumārasya vistīrṇam antaḥpuram upasthāpitaṃ tathā kumāro gṛhe abhirameya // rājñā kanyānām arthāya vividhaṃ nānāprakāraṃ aśokabhāṇḍaṃ kārāpitaṃ // kapilavastusmiṃ ca nagare ghoṣaṇā kārāpitā / sarvāhi kanyāhi rājakyaṃ udyānaṃ nirdhāvitavyaṃ sarvārthasiddho kumāro kanyānām ābharaṇāni viśrāṇeṣyati // tahiṃ udyāne rājāṇattīye kapilavastuto bahūni kanyāsahasrāṇi nirdhāvitāni // mahānāmasya śākyasya yaśodharā nāma dhītā mahatīye samṛddhīye nirdhāvitā hriyāyantī kumāram allīnā // yadā bhagavān abhiniṣkrānto anuttarāṃ samyaksaṃbodhim abhisaṃbuddho pravṛttapravaradharmacakro taṃ bhikṣuhi śrutaṃ // bhagavato kumārabhūtasya udyānavanagatasya kanyānām ābharaṇāni viśrāṇentasya yaśodharā hriyāyantī kumārasya allīnā // bhikṣu bhagavantaṃ pṛcchati // kathaṃ bhagavaṃ yaśodharā bhagavato kumārabhūtasya hriyāyantī allīnā // bhagavān āha // na hi bhikṣavaḥ idānīm eva yaśodharā mama hriyāyāntī allīnā / anyadāpi eṣā mama hriyāyantī allīnā // bhikṣū āhansuḥ // anyadāpi bhagavaṃ // bhagavān āha // anyadāpi bhikṣavo //
