bodhisatve khalu punar mahāmaudgalyāyana mātuḥ kukṣigate devasaṃghāḥ sukharātriṃ sukhadivasaṃ pṛcchakā āgacchanti / tāṃ ca bodhisatvo abhinandati dakṣiṇakaram utkṣipya mātaram abādhamāno // bodhisatvaṃ khalu punar mahāmaudgalyāyana mātuḥ kukṣigataṃ devā nāgā yakṣā dānavā rākṣasā piśācā na jahanti divā rātriṃ na cātra āsaṃgakathā kathīyati kāmopasaṃhitā anyā asatyā kathā / nānyatra bodhisatvavarṇam eva bhāṣanti rūpataḥ sattvatas tejataḥ varṇataḥ yaśataḥ kuśalamūlataḥ // bodhisatvasya mātuḥ kukṣigatasya pūjā noparamati // divyāni tūryāṇi vādyanti divyāni agurudhūpani dhūpenti divyaṃ puṣpavarṣaṃ varṣati divyaṃ cūrṇaṃ varṣati // apsarasahasrāṇi ca upagāyanti upanṛtyanti pi // bodhisatve khalu punar mahāmaudgalyāyana mātuḥ kukṣigate bodhisatvamātāṃ devakanyāsahasrehi sārdhaṃ abhyābhavati hāsyaṃ ca kathā ca // prasuptāṃ ca punar bodhisatvamātaraṃ devakanyā māndāravadāmena parivījenti bodhisatvasya tejena // ayaṃ ca punar mahāmaudgalyāyana trisāhasramahāsahasrāyāṃ lokadhātūyam anuttarā garbhāvakrāntipāramitā //
anyaṃ ca dāni paśyatha āścaryaṃ tasyā devaparṣāye /
tāva vipulāye kathā abhū paramaharṣasaṃjananī //
na ca kāmakathānyā nāpy apsarasāṃ kathā na gītakathā /
na ca vādyakathā teṣāṃ na pi bhuktakathā na pānakathā //
nābharaṇakathā teṣāṃ na pi vastrakathā pravartati kadācit* /
