The Lotus Sutra (Saddharma-pundarika) is an important Mahayana Buddhist scripture classified as one of the nine Dharmas. the Lotus Sutra deals with a wide range of important Buddhist teachings in twenty-seven chapters including the nature of the Buddhas and the inherent potentiality of becoming Buddha within all beings. समन्तचक्षु लोकेन्द्रा व्यवलोकेन्ति दिशो दश ।
विवरित्वामृतद्वारमोतारेन्ति बहून् जनान् ॥ ४८ ॥
samantacakṣu lokendrā vyavalokenti diśo daśa |
vivaritvāmṛtadvāramotārenti bahūn janān || 48 ||
The all-seeing Masters of the world send their looks in all directions of the horizon, and by opening the gate of immortality they make people reach the (safe) shore.
