The Lotus Sutra (Saddharma-pundarika) is an important Mahayana Buddhist scripture classified as one of the nine Dharmas. the Lotus Sutra deals with a wide range of important Buddhist teachings in twenty-seven chapters including the nature of the Buddhas and the inherent potentiality of becoming Buddha within all beings. This editions only contains the Sanskrit metrical text and the corresponding English translation. Alternative titles: Saddharma-puṇḍarīka-sūtra (सद्धर्म-पुण्डरीक-सूत्र).

त्रैधातुकान्निःसृतस्य श्रावकस्य विजानतः ।
भवत्येवं मया प्राप्तं निर्वाणममलं शिवम् ।
तामेव तत्र प्रकाशेमि नैतन्निर्वाणमुच्यते ।
सर्वधर्मावबोधात्तु निर्वाणं प्राप्यते ऽमृतम् ॥ ६३ ॥

traidhātukānniḥsṛtasya śrāvakasya vijānataḥ |
bhavatyevaṃ mayā prāptaṃ nirvāṇamamalaṃ śivam |
tāmeva tatra prakāśemi naitannirvāṇamucyate |
sarvadharmāvabodhāttu nirvāṇaṃ prāpyate 'mṛtam || 63 ||

The disciple who by his discrimination has escaped from the triple world thinks he has reached pure, blest Nirvana, but it is only by knowing all laws (and the universal laws) that the immortal Nirvana is reached.
