[299.013]. tato gaganatalasthābhirdevatābhiśca kinnaraśatasahasrairhāhākārakilikilāprakṣveḍoccair nādo muktaḥ, yaṃ dṛṣṭvā ca kinnararājaḥ paraṃ vismayamupagataḥ/
[299.015]. tataḥ kinnarīsahasrasya manoharāsamānarūpasya madhye manoharāṃ sthāpayitvā sudhanaḥ kumāro'bhihitah--ehi kumāra, pratyabhijānāsi manoharāmiti? tataḥ sudhanaḥ kumārastāṃ pratyabhijñāya gāthābhigītenoktavān--

[299.022]. tato drumaḥ kinnararājaḥ kinnaragaṇena saṃvarṇitaḥ sudhanaṃ kinnarābhimetena mahatā satkāreṇa puraskṛtya manoharāṃ divyālaṃkāravibhūṣitāṃ vāmena pāṇinā gṛhītvā dakṣiṇena sauvarṇabhṛṅgāraṃ sudhanaṃ kumāramabhihitah--kumāra, eṣā te manoharā kinnarīpativṛtā bhāryārthāya dattā/
[299.024]. aparicitā mānuṣāḥ, yathaināṃ na parityakṣasīti/
[299.025]. paraṃ tāteti sudhanaḥ kumāro drumasya kinnararājasya pratiśrutya kinnarabhavanastho manoharayā sārdhaṃ niṣpuruṣeṇa tūryeṇa krīḍate ramate paricārayati/
[299.027]. so'pareṇa samayena svadeśamanusmṛtya mātāpitṛviyogajena duḥkhenātyāhato manoharāyā nivedayati--mātāpitṛviyogajaṃ me duḥkhaṃ bādhata iti/
[299.028]. tato manoharayā eṣa vṛttānto vistareṇa pitur niveditaḥ/
[299.029]. sa kathayati--gaccha kumāreṇa sārdham/
[299.029]. apakrāntayā te bhavitavyam/
[299.029]. vipralambhakā manuṣyāḥ/
[299.030]. tato drumeṇa kinnararājena prabhūtaṃ maṇimuktāsuvarṇādīn dattvā anupreṣitaḥ/
[299.030]. sa manoharayā sārdhamuparivihāyasā kinnarakhagapathena saṃprasthitaḥ/
[299.031]. anupūrveṇa hastināpuranagaramanuprāptah[300] /

[300.001]. tato hastināpuraṃ nagaraṃ nānāmanohareṇa surabhinā gandhaviśeṣeṇa sarvā digāmoditam/
[300.002]. śrutvā dhanena rājñā ānandabheryastāḍitāḥ, sarvaṃ ca tannagaramapagatapāṣāṇaśarkarakaṭhallaṃ kāritam/
[300.003]. candanavāriṣiktamāmuktapaṭṭadāmakalāpasamucchritadhvajapatākaṃ surabhidhūpaghaṭikopanibaddhaṃ nānāpuṣpāvakīrṇaramaṇīyam/
[300.004]. tataḥ kumāro'nekanaravarasahasraparivṛto manoharayā sārdhaṃ hastināpuraṃ nagaraṃ praviṣṭaḥ/
[300.005]. tato mārgaśramaṃ prativinodya vividhāni ratnānyādāya pituḥ sakāśamupasaṃkrāntaḥ/
[300.006]. pitrā kaṇṭhe pariṣvaktaḥ/
[300.006]. pārśve rājāsane niṣaṇṇaḥ/
[300.006]. kinnaranagaragamanāgamanaṃ ca vistareṇa samākhyātam/
[300.007]. tato dhanena rājñā atibalavīryaparākrama iti viditvā rājyābhiṣekeṇābhiṣiktaḥ/
[300.008]. sudhanaḥ kumāraḥ saṃlakṣayati--yanmama manoharayā sārdhaṃ samāgamaḥ saṃvṛtto rājyābhiṣekaścānuprāptaḥ, tatpūrvakṛtahetuviśeṣāt/
[300.009]. yannvahamidānīṃ dānāni dadyām, puṇyāni kuryāmiti/
[300.010]. tena hastināpure nagare dvādaśa varṣāṇi nirgaṭo yajña iṣṭaḥ//
[300.011]. syātkhalu te mahārāja anyaḥ sa tena kālena samayena sudhanaḥ kumāro veti? na khalvevaṃ draṣṭavyam/
[300.012]. api tvahameva tena kālena tena samayena bodhisattvacaryāyāṃ vartamānaḥ sudhano nāma rājā babhūva/
[300.013]. yanmayā manoharānimittaṃ balavīryaparākramo darśitaḥ, dvādaśa varṣāṇi nirargaṭo yajña iṣṭaḥ, na tena mayā anuttarā samyaksambodhiradhigatā, kiṃ tu taddānaṃ tacca vīryamanuttarāyāḥ samyaksamboderhetumātrakaṃ pratyayamātrakaṃ saṃbhāramātrakam//
