Observing the Five Precepts (Panca Síla) of Eight Precepts (Uposatha Síla) brings welfare to all beings. Síla also enables one to lead a peaceful life free from anxiety and worries. The good effects of Síla may not make one wealthy; but it sure brings peace of mind. Dana brings wealth in future lives - “Dana to bhogava”. Síla bring health of body and peace of mind - “Síla to sukhita”.
