The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रुत्वेति राघवस्तस्यां सभायां विस्मयान्वितः ।
बालकान्मृगमानेतुं प्रेषयामास भूरिशः ॥ ४७ ॥

śrutveti rāghavastasyāṃ sabhāyāṃ vismayānvitaḥ |
bālakānmṛgamānetuṃ preṣayāmāsa bhūriśaḥ || 47 ||
Valmiki said:—Rama was quite surprised with all the people sitting at the court, upon hearing the sage say so; and ordered his attendant lads in the hall to bring it forthwith before his presence there.
