यावन्न तत्त्वविज्ञानं तावच्चित्तशमः कुतः ।
यावन्न चित्तोपशमो न तावत्तत्त्ववेदनम् ॥ १२ ॥

yāvanna tattvavijñānaṃ tāvaccittaśamaḥ kutaḥ |
yāvanna cittopaśamo na tāvattattvavedanam || 12 ||

Until you know the truth, you cannot have the peace of your mind;and so long as you are a stranger to your mental tranquillity, you are barred from knowing the truth.
