The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एवं च याति तुर्यत्वमेवं मुक्तिरिति स्मृता ।
दृश्यदर्शनमुक्तायां युक्तायां परया धिया ॥ ३९ ॥

evaṃ ca yāti turyatvamevaṃ muktiriti smṛtā |
dṛśyadarśanamuktāyāṃ yuktāyāṃ parayā dhiyā || 39 ||

Release from the bondage of the visibles, and restraining the mind to its inward workings, constitute its turiya or fourth stage of perfection, which is also termed its liberation.
