The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ब्रह्मा पुनरुवाचेदं वीतरागां प्रसन्नधीः ।
वरं पुत्रि गृहाण त्वं किंचित्कालं च भूतले ॥ ९ ॥
brahmā punaruvācedaṃ vītarāgāṃ prasannadhīḥ |
varaṃ putri gṛhāṇa tvaṃ kiṃcitkālaṃ ca bhūtale || 9 ||
Brahma with the kindness of his heart, again accosted the apathetic dame, and said unto her: "Receive thy desired blessing, and live to enjoy for sometime longer on earth".
