ज्ञानोदयात्पुरारब्धं कर्मज्ञानान्न नश्यति ।
अदत्वा स्वफलं लक्ष्यमुद्दिश्योत्सृष्टबाणवत् ॥ ४५१ ॥jñānodayātpurārabdhaṃ karmajñānānna naśyati |
adatvā svaphalaṃ lakṣyamuddiśyotsṛṣṭabāṇavat || 451 ||451. The work which has fashioned this body prior to the dawning of knowledge, is not destroyed by that knowledge without yielding its fruits, like the arrow shot at an object.
