सद्वासनास्फूर्तिविजृम्भणे सति
ह्यसौ विलीनाप्यहमादिवासना ।
अतिप्रकृष्टाप्यरुणप्रभायां
विलीयते साधु यथा तमिस्रा ॥ ३१८ ॥

sadvāsanāsphūrtivijṛmbhaṇe sati
hyasau vilīnāpyahamādivāsanā |
atiprakṛṣṭāpyaruṇaprabhāyāṃ
vilīyate sādhu yathā tamisrā || 318 ||

318. When the desire for realising Brahman has a marked manifestation, the egoistic desires readily vanish, as the most intense darkness effectively vanishes before the glow of the rising sun.
