The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.9.40; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

एवम् अन्ये’पि विज्ञेयास् ते’द्भुतापरसादयः ।
उत्तमास् तु रसाभासाः कैश्चिद् रसतयोदिताः ॥४.९.४०॥

evam anye’pi vijñeyās te’dbhutāparasādayaḥ |
uttamās tu rasābhāsāḥ kaiścid rasatayoditāḥ
||4.9.40||

English translation

“In a similar way, one should understand examples of aparasa for adbhūta and other rasas. Some persons consider superior rasābhāsa (uparasa) to be rasa, because it has a relishable nature.”
