The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.36; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तस्य रूपं —
कालिन्दी-मधुर-त्विषं मधुपतेर् माल्येन निर्माल्यतां
लब्धेनाञ्चितम् अम्बरेण च लसद्-गोरोचना-रोचिषा ।
द्वन्द्वेनार्गल-सुन्दरेण भुजयोर् जिष्णुम् अब्जेक्षणं
मुख्यं पारिषदेषु भक्ति-लहरी-रुद्धं भजाम्य् उद्धवम् ॥३.२.३६॥

tasya rūpaṃ
kālindī-madhura-tviṣaṃ madhupater mālyena nirmālyatāṃ
labdhenāñcitam ambareṇa ca lasad-gorocanā-rociṣā
|
dvandvenārgala-sundareṇa bhujayor jiṣṇum abjekṣaṇaṃ
mukhyaṃ pāriṣadeṣu bhakti-laharī-ruddhaṃ bhajāmy uddhavam
||3.2.36||

English translation

Uddhava’s form:
“I worship Uddhava, with dark complexion like the Yamunā, wearing yellow cloth and the garlands used by Kṛṣṇa. He has arms like door bolts and eyes like lotuses. He is the chief of the pārṣadas, filled with waves of bhakti.”
