The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.27; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा हरि-हक्ति-सुधोदये —
अहो महात्मन् बहु-दोष-दुष्टो’प्य्
एकेन भात्य् एष भवो गुणेन ।
सत्-सङ्गमाख्येन सुखावहेन
कृताद्य नो येन कृशा मुमुक्षा ॥३.२.२७॥

yathā vā hari-hakti-sudhodaye —
aho mahātman bahu-doṣa-duṣṭo’py
ekena bhāty eṣa bhavo guṇena
|
sat-saṅgamākhyena sukhāvahena
kṛtādya no yena kṛśā mumukṣā
||3.2.27||

English translation

An example from the Hari-bhakti-sudhodaya:
Śaunaka said to Suta: ‘Though the material world is full of faults, it has one good quality: association with devotees. By this association, we have given up the desire for liberation.’ ”
