The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.1.17; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

भक्तात्माराम-करुणा प्रपञ्चेनैव तापसाः ।
शान्ताख्य-भाव-चन्द्रस्य हृद्-आकाशे कलां श्रिताः ॥३.१.१७॥

bhaktātmārāma-karuṇā prapañcenaiva tāpasāḥ |
śāntākhya-bhāva-candrasya hṛd-ākāśe kalāṃ śritāḥ ||3.1.17||

English translation

“The performers of austerities, having received mercy from the devotees and ātmārāmas, hold the moon of bhāva called śānta in the sky of their hearts.”
