The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.5.15; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अनाचान्त-धियां तत्-तद्-भाव-निष्ठा सुखार्णवे ।
आर्याणाम् अतिशुद्धानां प्रायः स्वच्छा रतिर् भवेत् ॥२.५.१५॥

anācānta-dhiyāṃ tat-tad-bhāva-niṣṭhā sukhārṇave |
āryāṇām atiśuddhānāṃ prāyaḥ svacchā ratir bhavet
||2.5.15||

English translation

“Those very pure pious persons whose hearts are fickle because of lack of a particular taste for the ocean of happiness of the higher rasas and who thus must conduct themselves according to the rules of the scriptures generally develop svaccha-rati.
