The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.170; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

द्वेषेण, यथा —
वंशी-पूरेण कालिन्द्याः सिन्धुं विन्दतु वाहिता ।
गुरोर् अपि पुरो नीवीं या भ्रंशयति सुभ्रुवाम् ॥२.४.१७०॥

dveṣeṇa, yathā —
vaṃśī-pūreṇa kālindyāḥ sindhuṃ vindatu vāhitā |
guror api puro nīvīṃ yā bhraṃśayati subhruvām
||2.4.170||

English translation

Cāpalyam arising from hatred:
“May the flute, which loosens the cords tying the clothing of the beautiful women, enter the ocean on the waves of the Yamunā!”
