The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.3.81; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

उद्दीप्ता एव सूद्दिप्ता महा-भावे भवन्त्य् अमी ।
सर्व एव परां कोटिं सात्त्विका यत्र बिभ्रति ॥२.३.८१॥

uddīptā eva sūddiptā mahā-bhāve bhavanty amī |
sarva eva parāṃ koṭiṃ sāttvikā yatra bibhrati ||2.3.81||

English translation

“When all the uddīpta-sāttvika-bhāvas appear in mahā-bhāva they are called sūddīpta-sāttvika-bhāvas. All the sāttvika-bhāvas attain their highest state in mahā-bhāva.”
