The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.3.10; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
पूतनाम् इह निशाम्य निशायां
सा निशान्त-लुठद्-उद्भट-गात्रीम् ।
कम्पिताङ्ग-लतिका व्रज-राज्ञी
पुत्रम् आकुल-मतिर् विचिनोति ॥२.३.१०॥

yathā —
pūtanām iha niśāmya niśāyāṃ
sā niśānta-luṭhad-udbhaṭa-gātrīm
|
kampitāṅga-latikā vraja-rājñī
putram ākula-matir vicinoti
||2.3.10||

English translation

An example:
“One time Yaśodā, while dreaming at night, saw the huge body of Pūtanā rolling on the ground in her house. Her body began shaking. Then in great agitation, she began to search for Kṛṣṇa.”
