The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.356; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

माला त्रिधा वैजयन्ती रत्न-माला वन-स्रजः ।
अस्या वैकक्षकापीड-प्रालम्बाद्या भिदा मताः ॥२.१.३५६॥

mālā tridhā vaijayantī ratna-mālā vana-srajaḥ |
asyā vaikakṣakāpīḍa-prālambādyā bhidā matāḥ
||2.1.356||

English translation

“There are three types of garland: vaijayantī, jewel garland and forest garland. They may also extend over the serve as a chaplet around the topknot, or hang down from the neck.”
