The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.152; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा श्री-दशमे (१०.८०.१९) —
सख्युः प्रियस्य विप्रर्षेर् अङ्ग-सङ्गाति-निर्वृतः ।
प्रीतो व्यमुञ्चद् अध्विन्दून् नेत्राभ्यां पुष्करेक्षणः ॥२.१.१५२॥

yathā śrī-daśame (10.80.19) —
sakhyuḥ priyasya viprarṣer aṅga-saṅgāti-nirvṛtaḥ |
prīto vyamuñcad adhvindūn netrābhyāṃ puṣkarekṣaṇaḥ
||2.1.152||

English translation

An example from the Tenth Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [10.80.19]:
“The lotus-eyed Supreme Lord felt intense ecstasy upon touching the body of
His dear friend, the wise brāhmaṇa, and thus He shed tears of love.”
