The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.129; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा —
वितायमानैर् भवता मखोत्करैर्
आकृष्यमाणेषु पतिष्व् अनारतम् ।
मुकुन्द खिन्नः सुर-सुभ्रुवां गणस्
तवावतारं नवमं नमस्यति ॥२.१.१२८॥

yathā vā —
vitāyamānair bhavatā makhotkarair
ākṛṣyamāṇeṣu patiṣv anāratam |
mukunda khinnaḥ sura-subhruvāṃ gaṇas
tavāvatāraṃ navamaṃ namasyati
||2.1.128||

अनोथेर् एxअम्प्ले:
“ओ मुकुन्द! योउ हवे पेर्fओर्मेद् सो मन्य् सच्रिfइचेस् अन्द् चोन्तिनुअल्ल्य् अत्त्रच्तेद् अल्ल् थे देवतास् थत् थे wइवेस् ओf थे देवतास्, fएएलिन्ग् सुffएरिन्ग् इन् सेपरतिओन् fरोम् थेइर् हुस्बन्द्स्, अरे प्रयिन्ग् तो बुद्ध, योउर् निन्थ् अवतार, तो स्तोप् थे सच्रिfइचेस्.”

(३१) शूरः —
उत्साही युधि शूरो’स्त्र-प्रयोगे च विचक्षणः ॥२.१.१२९॥

Another example:
“O Mukunda! You have performed so many sacrifices and continually attracted all the devatās that the wives of the devatās, feeling suffering in separation from their husbands, are praying to Buddha, Your ninth avatāra, to stop the sacrifices.”

(31) śūraḥ
utsāhī yudhi śūro’stra-prayoge ca vicakṣaṇaḥ ||2.1.129||

English translation

(31) śūraḥ: hero —
“A hero is a person who is energetic in fighting and skillful in the use of weapons.”
