The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.100; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
शरज्-ज्योत्स्ना-तुल्यः कथम् अपि परो नास्ति समयस्
त्रिलोक्याम् आकृईडः क्वचिद् अपि न वृन्दावन-समः ।
न काप्य् अम्भोजाक्षी व्रज-युवति-कल्पेति विमृशन्
मनो मे सोत्कण्ठं मुहुर् अजनि रासोत्सव-रसे ॥२.१.९९॥

yathā —
śaraj-jyotsnā-tulyaḥ katham api paro nāsti samayas
trilokyām ākṛīḍaḥ kvacid api na vṛndāvana-samaḥ |
na kāpy ambhojākṣī vraja-yuvati-kalpeti vimṛśan
mano me sotkaṇṭhaṃ muhur ajani rāsotsava-rase
||2.1.99||

अन् एxअम्प्ले:
“थेरे इस् नो तिमे चोम्परब्ले तो थे औतुम्न् सेअसोन् इन् थे मोओन्लिघ्त्. थेरे इस् नो प्लचे ओf अमुसेमेन्त् इन् थे थ्रेए wओर्ल्द्स् एqउअल् तो वृन्दावन. थेरे अरे नो लोतुस्-एयेद् wओमेन् लिके थे योउन्ग् wओमेन् ओf व्रज. चोन्सिदेरिन्ग् थिस्, म्य् हेअर्त् लोन्ग्स् fओर् थे तस्ते ओf थे रास दन्चे.”

(२०) शास्त्र-चक्षुः —
शास्त्रानुसारि-कर्मा यः शास्त्र-चक्षुः स कथ्यते ॥२.१.१००॥

An example:
“There is no time comparable to the autumn season in the moonlight. There is no place of amusement in the three worlds equal to Vṛndāvana. There are no lotus-eyed women like the young women of Vraja. Considering this, My heart longs for the taste of the rāsa dance.”

(20) śāstra-cakṣuḥ —
śāstrānusāri-karmā yaḥ śāstra-cakṣuḥ sa kathyate ||2.1.100||

English translation

(20) śāstra-cakṣuḥ: sees with the eyes of the scriptures —
“A person who sees with the eyes of the scriptures is a person who performs his actions according to the rules of the scripture.”
