The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.70; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अगस्त्य-संहितायाम् —
यथा विधि-निषेधौ तु मुक्तं नैवोपसर्पतः ।
तथा न स्पृशतो रामोपासकं विधि-पूर्वकम् ॥१.२.७०॥

agastya-saṃhitāyām —
yathā vidhi-niṣedhau tu muktaṃ naivopasarpataḥ |
tathā na spṛśato rāmopāsakaṃ vidhi-pūrvakam
||1.2.70||

English translation

In the Agastya-saṃhitā it is said:
“Just as the rules and prohibitions of the smṛti scriptures do not approach a liberated person, the rules and prohibitions applicable to vaidika or tāntrika worship do not touch the worshiper of Rāma.”
