पितरं मातरं नत्वा नेत्रान्तेन प्रिया-गणान्
यथा-योग्यं तथा चान्यान् सन्निवर्त्य वनं व्रजेत्

pitaraṃ mātaraṃ natvā netrāntena priyā-gaṇān
yathā-yogyaṃ tathā cānyān sannivartya vanaṃ vrajet

pitaraṃ—father; mātaraṃ—mother; natvā—bowing; netrāntena—with the corner of His eyes; priyā-gaṇān—to the dear gopīs; yathā- yogyaṃ—as appropriate; tathā—so; ca—also; anyān—others; sannivartya—sending back; vanaṃ—to the forest; vrajet—went.

English translation of verse:

Bowing down before His father and mother, casting sidelong glances at His gopī-beloveds, and dealing appropriately with all the others, Lord Kṛṣṇa sent them all back. Then He again proceeded to the forest.
